LDR Tip #1: Reassurance

When you’re in a long distance relationship, there are many factors that have to contribute to that relationship to make it work. Make sure your significant other knows that you’re willing to put in the effort to make it work and reassure them of that as often as you can.

This is me. My name is Emilie. I’m 17 years old and I live in Missouri.

This is Maddie. She’s also 17, but she lives in Ohio.

We’ve been together since we were 15 and we’re still as strong as ever. We get about 2 (3-4 day) visits per year.

Distance sucks. We know.

And this is the blog where you can either stalk our relationship, or just ask us questions and rant to us about how much it sucks because we understand.

A performance piece I did for my 4D class. The assignment was to do a performance piece in public and make a video of it. I wanted to do something that meant something to me and others, so I did it on Prop 8.
